Academic Excellence
Education is at the heart of Karka Trust’s mission, providing both school support and career-focused coaching to empower children and youth.
Evening Tuition for School Children
We run dedicated evening coaching classes for students in Kannagi Nagar (Classes 9–12). These classes cover critical subjects including English, Maths, Sciences, Computer Science, and Commerce, providing essential academic reinforcement.
Coaching for Youth & Competitive Exams
We empower youth to secure stable government and public sector jobs through targeted training. We offer coaching for competitive exams like Locopilot, TNPSC, and SSC, supporting youth in key areas including Ayyanavaram, Palavakkam, Royapettah, and Thiruvanmiyur.
Library & Resources
A well-stocked library at our Kannagi Nagar learning centre, along with annual distribution of educational kits (books, bags, gifts).
Scholarship Support
College scholarships and comprehensive career guidance provided to deserving students, including direct support for UG/PG admissions.
Mentorship Programs
Connecting students with experienced mentors for academic and personal development, fostering confidence and growth.

Karka Trust actively supports employability through career coaching, job fairs, and placement training, focusing heavily on first-generation learners.
- 📈 Employment Camps: Successfully conducted an employment camp for young women from Kannagi Nagar and Ezhil Nagar to bridge talent gaps.

Keerapakkam Govt. Middle School Renovation
At Karka Trust, our team has been deeply involved in upgrading educational infrastructure. In Keerapakkam Government Middle School, we renovated six classrooms by laying tiled flooring, painting, and installing lights/fans. We also renovated student toilets and kitchens.
School Upgrade Initiatives
We initiated improvements at Vandalur-Kandigai Government High School and surveyed Kooduvanchery Middle School for comprehensive upgrades, including new labs and classrooms. These efforts aim to create safe, engaging, and sustainable learning environments for children in marginalized communities.
Six Classroom Renovations
Full renovation including tiled flooring, fresh paint, and electrical installation at Keerapakkam.
Sanitation & Kitchen Upgrades
Renovating student toilets and kitchens to improve hygiene and provide proper mid-day meal facilities.
Future Labs and Classrooms
Surveyed schools for comprehensive upgrades including the development of new labs and additional classrooms.
Holistic Development Through Sports
Nurturing talent, teamwork, and physical wellness for first-generation learners and vulnerable youth.
Kabaddi Court at Perumbakkam College
Multi-Phase Sports Infrastructure Project
In partnership with Perumbakkam Government Arts and Science College, we launched a multi-phase sports infrastructure project. Phase 1 involved constructing a Kabaddi court, providing a dedicated training space.
Future Plans
Further plans include Volleyball, Cricket nets, and a fully-equipped Indoor Sports Arena including a gym, changing rooms, and training areas.
Impact:
This project nurtures talent and provides structured training for students from vulnerable backgrounds, many of whom are first-generation learners or children of daily wage earners.

COVID-19 & Monsoon Aid
Disaster Response Team
COVID-19 & Monsoon Relief
During the COVID-19 lockdown and monsoons, the team provided food kits, grocery essentials, and cooked meals to over 1000 families across areas like Keerapakkam, Royapettai, Adhanur, Semmanjeri, and Ashok Nagar.
Targeted Community Support
Special attention was given to sanitation workers, daily wage earners, and transgender communities, ensuring relief reached the most marginalized and vulnerable groups based on their specific needs.
Disaster and Remote Area Aid
We supported Gaza cyclone victims in Nagapattinam and also provided school essentials in Pulicat Lake and Javvadi Hills, actively extending our reach to remote and disaster-hit regions.
